Position Overview
IT SME Support – Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) G3’s Army Trojan Management Office (ATMO) – Trojan Network Operations Center (TNOC). Provide Tier II customer service support to US Army INSCOM customers. Responsible for software support to CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, in‑line encryption devices, network security appliances and related hardware.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier II customer service support to US Army INSCOM customers.
- Configure, operate, and troubleshoot networks, including CISCO routers, Juniper routers, in‑line encryption devices, and network security appliances.
- Perform software support for Dell PCs, Sun servers, and related equipment.
- Maintain ongoing network health and document support activities.
- TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
- Certification: CCNA required. Acceptable alternatives include GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CCNA, or CCENT.
- Five years of experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.
- Work performed inside a large facility, in a cubicle environment with moderate noise and lighting.
- May be required to travel with the military to participate in exercises in austere environments (hot, dusty, cold, icy, windy). Travel may be continental or overseas; a current passport is required.
- Shifts include 12‑hour (6pm–6am) or a single 8‑hour (6pm–2am) per pay period. Night and weekend work may be required.
- Physical requirements:
sitting at desk, using phone and PC/laptop, filing, lifting boxes up to 25lb, occasional standing/walking, handling objects up to 15lb. - Employee must maintain required certifications throughout contract duration; failure to maintain will result in disqualification.
$115,000–$120,000 (annual salary)
