Location: Fort Belvoir, VA;
New Cumberland, PA;
Battle Creek, MI;
Columbus, Ohio (position is on-site at one of these locations)

Comp Tech is seeking a qualified, cleared Telecommunications Network Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The role supports DLA Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS), and Wide Area Network (WAN) Branch across multiple enterprise‑wide DLA locations.

The selected engineer will provide expertise in wired and wireless WAN engineering and operational support for both current and emerging technologies, ensuring technical integrity of system baselines throughout the system lifecycle through managing and implementing updates resulting from development, deployment, operations, and maintenance activities.

This position plays a critical role in sustaining and modernizing DLA’s WAN environment by delivering reliable, secure, and mission‑ready network services in support of agency operations.

• Maintain and support wired and wireless WAN infrastructure.
• Analyze and design voice, LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Integrate, interface, and test complex hardware and software systems.
• Ensure system baseline integrity throughout the system lifecycle.
• Deliver reliable, secure, and mission‑ready network services.

• Minimum of two (2) years of network operations experience, with higher‑level education or relevant military service substitutable.
• Demonstrated experience in telecommunications network design and management.
• Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems supporting integrated voice and data services.
• Experience performing or supporting the development, engineering, integration, interfacing, and testing of complex hardware and software systems.

Certification Requirements:

• One of the following from each of the two lists.

List 1:

• ICIA Level: IAT-II; CCNA Security;
  CySA+; GICSP; GSEC;
  Security+ CE; CND; SSCP; CASP+ CE; CCNP Security; CISA; CISSP (or Associate); GCED; GCIH

List 2:

• CCSE NGX; CCNA; CCNP; CCSP; SCNA; CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI; CCMSE NG with AI; CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX; NSA; ESE

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Top Secret

Salary range: $90k - $100k.
