About the roleKaimetrix is seeking a Cable and Wiring Specialist – Level III to lead the installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of cable infrastructure in a secure, mission‑critical environment. This role is responsible for executing and overseeing copper and optical fiber cabling projects while ensuring adherence to industry standards, performance requirements, and documentation practices.
What you’ll do- Lead cable infrastructure projects from planning through execution and completion
- Install, modify, repair, and decommission copper and optical fiber cabling systems
- Perform end‑to‑end verification of cable plant performance to ensure compliance with industry specifications
- Conduct cable testing using established methodologies to validate performance and integrity
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cable installations, modifications, and maintenance activities
- Interpret and update complex engineering schematics related to building and cable plant infrastructure
- Ensure cable infrastructure aligns with technical requirements and operational needs
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cable and wiring infrastructure or related technical field
- Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), military training, or equivalent experience
- Background investigation Tier 1 (T1) or ability to obtain and maintain
