Overview
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you will create a cloud‑based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of on‑premise, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team to help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud and grow your skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry.
Requirements- 3+ years of experience using software with a cloud‑first development approach.
- 3+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on‑premise or hybrid solutions.
- 1+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud‑native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security.
- 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or OCI Resource Manager.
- Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in a technical role in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date.
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation.
- Experience with system migration from AWS to OCI.
- Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings.
- Experience leading technical initiatives in large‑scale environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certification.
- IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.
Projected annual salary range: $86,800.00 to $ (USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
