In support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) and the Regional Network Enterprise Center for the National Capital Region (RNEC-NCR), we are currently seeking aTelecommunications Specialist II (Intermediate Level) with a minimum of five (5) years' experience. The customer is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist II to implement Senior Telecommunications Specialist guidance for designing, developing and testing telecommunications software solutions, reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and maintaining the telecommunications system, training customers on telecommunications features and functionality, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing telecommunications equipment, examining new services offered by vendors and making recommendations to government stakeholders.

• Secret security clearance (must have a current Secret Clearance or higher).
• IAT-II certification (Network Environments).
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Minimum of five years of experience in telecommunications.

• BICSI Master Instructor or BICSI Certifications in Fiber, Broadband and FTTx.
• FOA (Fiber Optic Association) - Certified Fiber Optic Technician Specialist and Instructor certification.
• ETA Fiber Optic Certifications in FTx (antenna, curb, home and DAS).
• Train the Trainer certified in Fiber Optics.
• OSHA 30/500/501 certified in Construction.
• CompTIA Network+, Security+, A certification.
