Duties
* Serve as the primary enterprise liaison, planner, and consultant to departments across the executive branch, driving requirements determination and strategic planning for global civil-military operations.
* Coordinate across diverse Interagency, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and multinational partner networks to architect, validate, and execute complex global logistics solutions.
* Establish enterprise logistics operating standards and interpret complex federal policies, statutory regulations, and agency directives to assess impacts on strategic planning.
* Direct and participate in sensitive, national-security-level operational and contingency planning sessions requiring active high-level clearances (Top Secret/SCI).
* Monitor interagency mission readiness, resolve high-level systemic escalations, and design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize customer support and reporting.
* Analyze future federal-wide logistics initiatives and author critical After Action Reports (AARs) to ensure agency capabilities are synchronized with customer requirements.
* Manage real-time coordination with federal crisis management centers and oversee logistical support for foreign disaster relief and humanitarian assistance operations globally. Requirements Conditions of employment

Qualifications To qualify for a Logistics Management Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
* Serves as the main logistics expert for executive branch departments, setting operating standards and making sure federal plans align with global military and civil operations.
* Works closely with federal agencies, international partners, and crisis centers to design and carry out logistics plans for global emergencies and disaster relief.
* Manages high-security planning sessions (Top Secret/SCI), tracks performance and readiness, and uses team feedback to fix major issues and improve support. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
