Position Summary

We are seeking a senior Information System Security Manager to lead contractor cybersecurity, RMF, authorization, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring support for a prospective Army cyber program. This position will help teams deliver secure capability without taking over Government authorization or risk acceptance authority.

• Provide direct support to the Government ISSM in maintaining the appropriate operational cybersecurity and Information Assurance posture for assigned systems, programs, and enclaves.
• Lead contractor RMF planning, authorization package development, authorization maintenance, reauthorization support, and continuous monitoring.
• Coordinate with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), system owners, cybersecurity engineers, system administrators, developers, network engineers, test personnel, and Government stakeholders to resolve cybersecurity deficiencies and authorization issues.
• Coordinate security plans, control implementation, assessment evidence, POA&Ms, STIG and SRG compliance, configuration, cyber hygiene, and remediation.
• Operate eMASS workflows and support IATT, ATO, and conditional authorization packages with complete, auditable evidence.
• Coordinate ACAS, Tenable.sc, and Nessus results, remediation priorities, risk inputs, and release impacts.
• Embed cybersecurity requirements, RMF controls, and risk-management activities into Agile backlogs, systems engineering, Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, test events, deployments, software releases, and sustainment activities.
• Use Government approved AI and automation where available to improve evidence collection, vulnerability analysis, threat summarization, compliance reporting, and risk visibility while maintaining human validation and data handling controls.
• Recommend risk based mitigations while preserving Government Authorizing Official and risk acceptance authority.

• U.S. citizenship, active Top Secret clearance, and eligibility for SCI access.
• Eight or more years of directly relevant cybersecurity, information assurance, RMF, or ISSM experience.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent additional professional experience.
• Experience serving as an ISSM, senior ISSO, cybersecurity lead, or authorization lead for Army or Department of War systems.
• Expertise in DoDI 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, Army RMF, authorization packages, security control assessment, and continuous monitoring.
• Experience with eMASS, POA&Ms, STIGs, SRGs, vulnerability management, ACAS, Tenable.sc, and Nessus.
• Active CISSP and qualification for the assigned DoW 8140/DCWF work role at Advanced proficiency.

• Army or broader Department of War experience supporting Offensive Cyberspace Operations, Defensive Cyberspace Operations, cyber capability development, or related mission programs.
• CISM, CGRC, GSLC, CCSP, CISSP-ISSMP, or comparable advanced certification.
• Experience with continuous authorization, automated evidence, secure AI adoption, Zero Trust, cloud security, and cybersecurity integrated into Agile delivery.
