- Assess, coordinate, facilitate, deliver, and evaluate care for infant to geriatric patients using the nursing process.
- Possess strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Possess fundamental knowledge of military medical policies and practices.
- Knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated medical records.
- Maintain high level of professionalism oriented toward customer service.
- Outpatient primary care aid station nurse manager. Primary facilitator of clinical services and medical administrative duties. Work directly with aid station manager, a Physician Assistant, and other various medical professionals in the delivery of primary care, urgent care, and preventative medicine.
- Provide the following services and in strict compliance with standing orders and protocols set forth, but will not necessarily be limited to the following:
- Coordinate patient care through a continuum and facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to care, quality and cost effectiveness.
- Will demonstrate proper preparation for patients for treatments and procedures, to include surgical interventions.
- Provide proper care and evaluation of post-procedural patients.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate plans/actions and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team for the benefit of the patient, family, and organization. Effectively educate patients and families regarding involvement in the plan of care, promotion of self-care, management of symptoms, and follow-up care.
- Demonstrate excellent written communication skills to perform accurate documentation, both written and electronic, of all activity.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize adverse signs and symptoms and reacts quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
