Duties
Provides technical advice and staff support to senior leadership on complex counterintelligence (CI) and national security matters.
Leads confidential, high-priority studies and projects, developing and coordinating policy positions and recommendations.
Maintains liaison with military CI elements, federal, state, and local law enforcement, and other federal agencies.
Delivers and coordinates CI briefings and debriefings for both cleared and uncleared Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) personnel.
Oversees briefing and debriefing of DLA personnel traveling to or interacting with sensitive foreign countries and citizens.
Prepares intelligence damage assessments to evaluate espionage operations or compromises by foreign intelligence services.
Conducts CI collection and analysis through debriefings, liaison, open-source research, classified sources, and reviews of CI information systems to detect foreign intelligence or terrorism activity.
