AI Engineer Opportunity
As an experienced engineer, you will be critical to building enterprise‑wide AI solutions for national security customers. You will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from massive datasets, define the direction of AI strategy, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and MLOps engineers.
Responsibilities- Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI models that learn from data.
- Apply best‑fit machine‑learning algorithms and technologies to solve real‑world challenges.
- Own and define direction of critical AI solutions, continuously optimizing performance, latency, throughput, and reliability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and MLOps engineers to deliver world‑class solutions at massive scale.
- Guide clients through the landscape of AI/ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience in software engineering, ML engineering, and AI systems development using Python.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining LLM‑powered systems and complex data pipelines in production environments.
- Experience integrating AI components, including embeddings, vector databases such as Lance
DB, pgvector, Elasticsearch, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. - Ability to translate early‑stage prototypes into robust, scalable production systems.
- Ownership of system performance, continuously optimizing for latency, throughput, and high reliability.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Collaboration with MLOps, Dev Ops, and infrastructure engineers for seamless model deployment and scalability.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of underlying model architectures, inference optimization techniques, or fine‑tuning open‑source models.
- Experience with distributed systems, streaming data such as Kafka, or integrating AI services into larger enterprise microservice architecture.
- Experience implementing advanced prompting strategies, Lang Chain or Llama Index AI orchestration frameworks, vLLM or TGI LLM inference engines, and tool calling or agentic workflows.
- Security+ Certification.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
