The Senior Mission Trainer requires the following minimum skills and expertise:
- 5+ years demonstrated experience conducting training at U.S. in multiple geographic locations.
- Demonstrated experience drafting & formulating training materials or curriculum IAW TRADOC/Army standards.
- Demonstrated experience instructing & conducting training for military audiences.
- Bachelor’s Degree (related area) from college or university accredited by agency recognized by U.S. Department of Education (desired); may substitute Associates Degree + 7 years’ experience in intelligence discipline or High School Diploma + 9 years’ experience in intelligence discipline.
- Requires current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph.
- Additional special qualifications include:
- Develops, maintains, and/or delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, & standards.
- Provides lesson plans / presentations / curricula in support of educational goals & maintains material within assigned educational system (e.g. AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.).
- Reviews emerging policy & doctrine publications, provides feedback, & assesses for incorporation into training products.
- Develops / maintains training records & tracking systems as required or designated by Government.
Responsibilities:
- Document, understand, & respond to customer requirements.
- Maintain internal & external documentation.
- Develop briefings & supporting materials.
- Provide data visualization of transactions.
- Identify site requirements for training, scheduling, & identification of attendees.
- Provide training for usage of web technologies & Customer capabilities/services, including unique intelligence tools & custom-developed portals.
- Develop dynamic blocks of instruction to meet mission requirements; update content to stay abreast of new emerging technologies.
- Develop training curriculum to cover intelligence functions & services, including training modules, scenario-based training, practical exercises, appropriate handouts & materials.
- Teach blocks of instruction based on customer requests.
- Conduct student surveys / After-Action Reviews (AARs) at the end of course; conduct internal AAR to discuss student/instructor feedback, lessons learned, possible curriculum deficiencies, & required updates.
- Provide in-house Foundry training; mobile training teams; & virtual courses as required.
- Maintain training & curriculum database with training records, AARs, & course content.
- Maintain course attendance roster.
- Manage Foundry course information & offerings in ATRRS.
