Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Job RequirementsEducation and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred:
Acute care facility experience
Licenses / Certifications (Required)
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification
Department Specific Licenses / Certifications (Required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) or RQIPALS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
- Registered Nurse, ER
- Experience:
2 years - Licenses: RN-CA
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS - Social Security Number required
- Date of Birth required
- References: 2 References in the last 12 months
- ER SCL and Reference within a year
- RTO upon submission
