Overview
Infusion RN – Oncology in Fort Bragg, California. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks starting July 20, 2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,016 to $2,168 per week. The shift is day shift, five 8‑hour shifts per week, hours 08:00 to 16:30. The setting is a Critical Access Hospital providing infusion care to oncology patients. Critical Access Hospital infusion oncology environment
- Administer oncologic infusion therapies per physician orders and institutional protocols.
- Monitor patients during infusion, including vitals, fluid balance, pain and symptom assessment; respond promptly to adverse reactions.
- Recognize and manage infusion-related complications (e.g., allergic reactions, infusion reactions, adverse drug events) and implement safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to manage side effects, coordinate symptom management, and assist with care coordination and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on infusion procedures, expected effects, potential side effects, and safety precautions; ensure informed consent is up to date.
- Document nursing assessments, infusion details, medication, patient response, and precautions in the electronic medical record; maintain accurate IV access and aseptic technique.
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Oncology infusion experience: minimum 1 year.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONS) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work in a hospital infusion unit environment with day shift hours (Mon–Fri).
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Weekly pay range: $2,016–$2,168 per week.
- 13‑week assignment with potential for extension.
