Schedule/

Hours:

  • Shifts vary; flexibility and adaptability required to meet department needs
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license, eligible for practice in California
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute Operating Room setting
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and additional surgical certifications preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
  • Confidence operating within fast-paced environments and adapting to change
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe, patient-centered care throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
  • Scrub and circulate for a range of surgical procedures following best practices and sterile technique
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members for optimal outcomes
  • Accurately document interventions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in staff meetings, compliance programs, and continuing education initiatives
