A healthcare facility on the Northern California coast is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Bragg, CA. This role provides triage, treatment, and emergency care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced acute care setting.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong emergency medicine experience who are comfortable working with trauma and high-acuity patients.
Schedule:
36 hours per week
Shift: Night shift | 12-hour shifts
Department:
Emergency Department
Patient Population:
Trauma and emergency patients of all ages
Perform patient triage and prioritize care based on severity and acuity
Provide emergency nursing care for trauma and acute medical conditions
Monitor patient conditions and respond to rapidly changing situations
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
NRP certification required
PreferredTNCC certification
LocationFort Bragg is located along the beautiful Mendocino Coast of Northern California, known for dramatic ocean views, redwood forests, and outdoor recreation. The area offers whale watching, hiking trails, fishing, and a relaxed coastal lifestyle.
