• Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for an assigned ICU patient population using the nursing process.
• Monitor and manage hemodynamics, ventilated patients, and complex clinical scenarios; administer medications and therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record and update care plans as patient status evolves.
• Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and safety initiatives to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and coordinate tasks for assigned nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate.

• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Active RN license in the state of practice (California);
  Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS or ARC-ALS
• Experience:
  
  At least two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience; critical care experience required
• Education:
  
  BSN preferred
• Special qualifications: EPIC EHR experience; ability to thrive in a high-acuity ICU setting
