Travel RN - Medical ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring CA RN licensure, ACLS certification, and EPIC experience.

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC-ALS)
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Critical care experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No candidates with a prior hit on their license will be considered

Responsibilities

• Medical ICU unit within a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Day shift, 36-hour contract, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• Requires EPIC experience
• Delivers coordinated nursing care using the nursing process for an assigned patient group
• Supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healing environment
• Provides patient/family education and participates in discharge planning
• Delegates tasks appropriately among healthcare team members
• Position is represented by UFCW
• Required vaccinations per Adventist Health policy, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
• Traveler can only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
