Job Description

IDS is seeking a Supply Clerk to support supply operations and administrative logistics activities. The selected candidate will maintain records, support supply accountability requirements, utilize GCSS-A, and perform clerical functions in support of mission requirements.

Key Duties
  • Support supply operations and record keeping activities.
  • Utilize Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
  • Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, and record keeping.
  • Maintain supply-related records and documentation.
  • Support communication and coordination requirements related to supply activities.
Requirements
  • Secret clearance.
  • High school diploma.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Clerical skills such as typing, filing, and record keeping.
  • Communication skills.
  • One year of experience using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
  • Five years of experience in one of the following positions: material recording clerk, production clerk, stock clerk, material and product inspector, or military automated logistical specialist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Army Supply System.
  • Knowledge of Army supply regulations.

Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
