We are seeking a part-time board-certified Physician Assistant, preferably in Family Medicine, to join our new hospital-owned practice, Sampson Convenient Care. Located within a half mile of the main hospital and ER, Sampson Convenient Care treats patients of all ages for a range of acute conditions. We are looking for a skilled and experienced candidate comfortable with being the solo provider, dedicated to providing outstanding and compassionate care.

• Operating Hours:

  • Open 5 days a week:
    Monday through Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, Friday 8 am - 12 pm.

• Flexibility:

  • Provider may be expected to work extended evenings or rotating weekends as the practice grows.

• Work-Life Balance:

  • No call requirements or overnight shifts, ensuring excellent work-life balance.

• Scope of Care:

  • Convenient, walk-in care provided for non-life-threatening injuries to both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Common needs treated include respiratory, digestive, urinary, and skin conditions, lacerations, sprains, drug testing, IV fluids, immunizations, injections, sutures, x-ray (with radiologist review), and lab testing.
  • Work injuries in Sampson County as well as follow-ups with patients.
