Help
* Ensures continuity of program in teacher's absence.
* Monitoring students during various phases of school day.
* Maintains a clean and organized learning environment.
* Preparing instructional materials related to classroom lessons.
* Assists with teaching personal care routines: feeding, toileting and personal hygiene.
* Operates Instructional equipment and technology devices.
* Accompanying/supervising students on field trips.
* Produce material to display educational objectives to class.
* Apply assistive technology for recording student data.
* Participates in home visits, parent teacher conferences and other meetings.

* Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
* Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
* Direct deposit of pay is required.
* Two year supervisory probation period may be required.
* Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
* This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
* Must be vigilant in maintaining the confidentially of school related matters.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience;
if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Experience required:
To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates my ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as: utilizing automated office automation equipment to develop professional correspondence;
organizing office files or records; and responding to and/or directing customer inquiries.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience above in order to qualify. For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:
1) Qualifying based on education alone:
Education may be substituted for general experience with 2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school.
