Responsibilities and duties
- Mandarin Language Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY
026031]
- Provide foreign language instruction in Mandarin, ensuring proficiency improvements.
- Design and develop lesson plans and Programs of Instruction (POIs) in Mandarin.
- Conduct immersive language learning sessions using relevant military and cultural materials.
- Monitor and assess language proficiency using the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT).
Desired Qualifications For Mandarin Language Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY
026031] Candidates:
- Native or near native fluency in Mandarin.
- Proficiency in Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and Adult Education principles.
- Experience in military language programs preferred
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of language instruction experience.
- Military language instruction experience is a plus
Skills Required
- Fluency in Mandarin with strong verbal and written communication skills.
