Position Summary:
The Electronic Warfare (EW) Instructional Support Specialist provides instructional, curriculum development, and training support services for U.S. Army John
F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) programs at Fort Bragg. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality Electronic Warfare and Multi-Domain Operations training to U.S. Special Operations Forces (USSOF) and interagency personnel while ensuring all instruction is conducted in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction (POIs), Army doctrine, and USAJFKSWCS regulations. This position plays a critical role in preparing Special Operations personnel to operate effectively within complex electromagnetic and multi-domain operational environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver classroom, practical, and field-based instruction in Electronic Warfare and Multi-Domain Operations subject areas.
* Train USSOF and interagency personnel on EW doctrine, policy, tactics, techniques, procedures, and operational applications. This includes:
* US Army Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) policy and doctrine
* Radio Frequency Theory
* Full spectrum Signals characteristics and parameters
* Push-To-Talk (PTT)
* Cellular Networks and Communications
* 802.11 (WiFi)
* Satellite Networks and Communications
* Signals Identification
* Telecommunications Operations and Analysis
* Support to Cyberspace Operations
* EW Assessment and Reporting
* Electromagnetic Protection/ Attack / Support (EP/EA/ES)
* Spectrum Management Operations
* Counter Unmanned Systems (C-UxS)
* Culminating (CULEX) Full Mission Profile (FMP) exercises
* Develop, review, update, and revise curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials to align with current doctrine and force requirements.
* Support curriculum design and modernization efforts in accordance with Department of the Army, T2C, and USAJFKSWCS regulations and guidance.
* Utilize EW training tools, platforms, and instructional technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
* Conduct and support culminating exercises, Full Mission Profile (FMP) events, and operationally relevant training scenarios.
* Provide recommendations to the government regarding curriculum improvements and doctrinal updates.
* Ensure all training materials remain accurate, relevant, realistic, and synchronized with evolving operational requirements.
* Maintain required instructor qualifications and certifications.
Required Qualifications:
* US Citizen
* Valid U.S. driver's license
* Must hold an active Top Secret Security Clearance (SCI eligible)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Clear and effective verbal and written communication
* Demonstrated training and operational experience in Electronic Warfare, including Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), and Electronic Support (ES).
* Strong understanding of the Electromagnetic Spectrum Environment and Multi-Domain Operations concepts.
* Experience developing and delivering military training programs and curriculum.
* Knowledge of U.S. Army EW doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
* Proficiency with EW training systems, tools, and platforms.
* Ability to develop instructional materials and update lesson content based on emerging doctrine and operational requirements. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
