Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Systems Engineer Advisor ’ll tailor cutting‑edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients, prioritize end‑user experience and grow alongside our organization. As a Systems Engineer Advisor you will help manage design of server and application architectures, manage the administrative operation and maintenance of server hardware and software, maintain system security, establish practices and procedures, monitor usage statistics and logs, remediate security threats, develop baseline configurations, direct modification of configuration settings, develop troubleshooting and incident response procedures, troubleshoot system‑related problems, and lead a team of less experienced administrators.
You will remain current in OS/software analysis and technological developments, recommend future directions or projects to management, and provide expertise in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system.
- Experience with server virtualization (VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V)
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred
- Full technical knowledge of all phases of systems engineering
- Excellent communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through
- Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineers with less experience
- Creation of effective user manuals
- Detail‑oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
- May review the work of others and detect errors or needed modifications
- Able to identify and resolve problems or inadequacies of systems engineering
- 5+ years of related experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022)
- Experience with Power Shell scripting and systems automation
- Experience performing troubleshooting for technicians and/or end users utilizing Service Now ticketing system
- Strong experience with server virtualization (VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V)
- Participate in project planning and management, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed
- TS / SCI

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross‑functionally
- Competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of systems engineering activities
- Excellent communication and briefing skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through
- Experience in creating effective technical documentation
- Detail‑oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
- Ability to multi‑task as well as be strategic, creative, and innovative in a dynamic, fast‑paced matrix team environment
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in MECM and related systems and provide recommendations for future improvements

The likely salary range for this position is $116,813 - $155,250. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
