Duties
* Serves as an Air Planner and Aviation Exercise Requirements Specialist.
* Prepare and brief action officer and executive correspondence regarding aviation component training.
* Coordinate all aspects of aviation support, training requirements, and after-action review for exercises.
* Provide air scheduling information and coordinate with the air and space joint force providers.
* Provide aviation planning and execution of the Command's training and exercise program.
* Serve as a joint force aviation subject matter expert with ability to liaise with aviation force providers. Requirements Conditions of employment
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
* This position is Deployable and is expected to travel OCONUS on regular, rotating basis and/or short notice. A physical is REQUIRED as a condition of employment prior to EOD and as needed, thereafter.
* The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter.
* This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
* May require TDY travel over more than 30 days to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 30% of the time. This may require travel on military aircraft, ships and vehicles.
* Immunizations are required for deployed locations.
* Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. Qualifications Who May Apply:
