Position: Readiness Operations Specialist with Security Clearance
Duties
* Tracks and maintains Unit Status Reports (USR) data for all of the Corps' subordinate units located at other installations. Exercises administrative control of the Army Status of Resources and Training System.
* Coordinates the preparation and submission of all UIC reports including data additions, deletions, and changes as unit status changes occur. Performs periodic audits of the USR and UIC databases to ensure accuracy.
* Assists the Readiness Specialist in conducting monthly USR training classes for company through division USR representatives. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* The employee is frequently required to work extra hours, weekend and/or holidays during exercises, contingency operations, deployments or peak workloads.
* In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level.
* Per work role code (which can overlap).1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months,
2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months.

* 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).
* The incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment.
* Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11. Qualifications Who May Apply:

Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes Tracking and maintaining Unit Status Reports (USR) data for the Corp subordinate units. Experience coordinating, reviewing, and processing of Unit Status Reports (USR) and the Strategic Readiness System (SRS), updating Unit Identification Codes (UIC) and accessing TPFDD and TAPFOR data through the Global Command and Control System (GCCS). Experience exercising administrative control of the Army Status of Resources and Training System to include maintaining all Basic Identification Unit Elements (BIDE) units attached to the Corp..

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR

Education:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of

Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18.
