Agile Delivery Lead
As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for enabling a development team focused on modernizing critical systems and improving operational efficiency. You will guide and coach the team, remove blockers, enforce Agile principles, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery in a secure, cleared environment.
Key Responsibilities- Guide and coach a cross‑functional development team to high performance.
- Remove blockers, ensure steady progress across initiatives, and reinforce Agile principles with the team and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives in a Kanban environment.
- Lead project intake meetings, scope refinement, roadmap planning, and technical working sessions.
- Identify, manage, and communicate dependencies, risks, blockers, and action items to support successful software delivery.
- Support risk management, continuous improvement, and cross‑team collaboration.
- Serve as a reliable point of communication for both the team and stakeholders, ensuring sustained delivery momentum.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting IT programs or technical project delivery.
- Extensive experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a Kanban environment.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for backlog management, SDLC tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Experience coordinating customer intake sessions, scope refinement, roadmap planning, and technical working sessions.
- Strong ability to identify, manage, and communicate dependencies, risks, blockers, and action items.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- TS/SCI security clearance required or eligibility to obtain clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government, Department of War (DoW), or Federal software development contracts.
- Coaching Agile teams on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Facilitating collaboration across geographically distributed or cross‑functional teams.
- Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
