PC Technician Personnel
The PC Technician provides desktop support services for government users by installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, peripheral devices, and operating systems in an enterprise Department of Defense environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Install and configure desktop computers.
- Provide Tier I/II technical support.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Install operating systems and software.
- Configure network workstations.
- Support user account management.
- Document service requests.
- Maintain equipment inventory.
- Assist with system deployments.
- Support enterprise cybersecurity compliance.
- Provide customer service to end users.
- Associate degree in Information Technology or four years of professional IT experience.
- Current DCWF Client Systems Technician certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
- Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
- Experience supporting Army Mission Command systems.
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support certification.
- Experience using Service Now or similar ticketing systems.
