Armed Security Guard Security Clearance

Position: Armed Security Guard with Security Clearance
Summary The Armed Security Guard personnel will be responsible for providing security services at a U.S. Government location. Responsibilities
* Wearing a uniform and possessing an assigned weapon, will participate in Guard Mount, receive assigned post , and copy any extra instructions.
* Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned; conduct roving patrols prevent installation breaches and other OPSEC or security-related tasks.
* Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders.
* Required to interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.
* Will provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions.
* Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
* Will follow applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations pertaining to security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property and equipment.
* Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection.
* Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
* Other duties as assigned Qualifications
* Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
* Speak, read, comprehend , and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.
* Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
* Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
* Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922
* Must be at least 2 1 years of age.
* Possess a Valid NC driver's license and able to operate SUV style vehicles.
* Minimum of one year e xperience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
* Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
* Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army
