As a SAF Specialist with the American National Red Cross, you will support military members, veterans, and their families through compassionate case management, crisis intervention, and emergency communications. Working within the Community & Social Services department, you will coordinate resources, conduct outreach on bases and in communities, and collaborate with volunteers and partners to address urgent and ongoing needs. Responsibilities

  • Provide case management and crisis intervention services to Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) clients and military families.
  • Coordinate emergency communications, referrals, and resources for service members and their families.
  • Collaborate with community partners, military installations, and internal Red Cross teams to support client needs.
  • Conduct outreach, briefings, and education on SAF and Red Cross services to military and veteran communities.
  • Maintain accurate client records, reports, and documentation in accordance with Red Cross policies.
  • Support disaster response activities and volunteer engagement as needed.
  • Ensure services reflect Red Cross humanitarian values, cultural competence, and trauma-informed practices.
