Software Engineer
As a full‑stack developer, you will maintain and execute a network of simulators and modeling capabilities focused on providing rehearsal and exercise capabilities for various units. These simulators are located throughout the country and the engineering team manages the network, Authority to Connect (ATC), system design, tier‑1 to tier‑3 troubleshooting, hardware installs, life‑cycle management, software releases, deployment, new features, and innovation.
Responsibilities- Compile and run applications from provided source code.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Break down operational requirements into manageable tasks in Jira.
- Implement features and tasks using Java, C++, C#, and other relevant languages.
- Assist in innovation initiatives for the program.
- Integrate with other applications and simulations.
- Improve and maintain the development environment.
- Participate in Agile Scrum with daily communication.
- Provide onsite support when required.
- Experience with Java, C++, or C#.
- Experience working on simulation systems.
- Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing existing code.
- Experience administering CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.
- Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) networking protocol.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Nice to have:
Python, JavaScript, SQL, virtualization, Dev Sec Ops , Jira, Kubernetes, knowledge of MVRsimulation’s VRSG, knowledge of BSI’s MACE software.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must maintain TS/SCI clearance.
- Annualized salary range: $86,800.00 to $ (USD).
