Supervisory Industrial Engineer

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Campbell, KY.

• Serve as Supervisor Industrial Engineer authority with for management reviews, and organizational programs.
• Perform professional industrial engineering duties and functions in support of a defense related activity or organization.
• Manage projects and programs that will improve Directorate of Public Works (DPW) products or services.
• Plan and assign work to subordinates, determining schedules and priorities.
• Propose solutions to management regarding adjustments of resources, schedule and budget changes, revision of objectives and revision of performance standards.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5
  
  CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
• This position requires Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 5%.
• This position requires incumbent to wear a uniform and/or protective clothing and equipment.
• Incumbent may be required to serve a probationary period.
