Site Quality Assurance​/Control Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Manageris responsible for developing, implementing, andmaintaininga Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance withISO 9001:2015 standard sand all applicableU.S. Army supply, maintenance, and transportation requirements. The QA Manager will oversee site quality processes, conduct audits, leadcorrectiveand preventive actions, and collaborate with Army representatives, project leadership, and contractor personnel to ensure mission success and contractual compliance.

Manages quality assurance activities. Implements, monitors, and interprets testing meant to verify quality or compliance of products or production processes, and suggests modifications meant to prevent defects in components or final products. Manages installs and validates testing equipment or procedures. Analyzes test results, and interprets data to produce reports detaining quality related trends. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.

Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.

• Quality Management & Compliance
• Develop, implement, and sustain aQMS aligned with ISO 9001:2015standards.
• Ensure all site operations (supply, maintenance, and transportation) are compliant with U.S. Army regulations, technical manuals, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain certification readiness and coordinate with external auditors during surveillance and recertification audits.
• Auditing & Continuous Improvement:
  • Plan, schedule, and conductinternal quality audits across all site functions.
  • Identify non-conformances, lead root-cause analyses, and track corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote acontinuous improvement culture through metrics, performance monitoring, and best practice sharing.
• Documentation & Records Control:
  • Establish andmaintaincontrolled documentation, includingSOPs, work instructions, and training records.
  • Ensure documentation complies withboth ISO 9001:2015 and U.S. Army contract requirements.
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of inspections, audits, corrective actions, and compliance reports.
• Training & Awareness:
  • Provide ISO 9001:2015 awareness and quality training to contractor site personnel.
  • Develop site-specific training programs to ensure staff understand quality requirements, inspection protocols, and Army standards.
• Risk Management & Performance Monitoring:
  • Identify risks affecting mission performance and compliance; develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality across supply, maintenance, and transportation functions.
  • Report performance data to Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, and Government COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative).
• Customer & Stakeholder Interface:
  • Serve as primary point of contact for quality-related matters with U.S. Army representatives.
  • Support contract reviews, inspections, and acceptance testingin coordination with the Army.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing quality issues promptly and effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field or Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum5–7 years of quality assurance experienceinlogistics, supply, transportation, or maintenance operations.
• Experience working withU.S. Army contracts or militarylogisticssupporthighly preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (preferred).
• ASQ certifications (CQA, CMQ/OE, or CQI) are a plus.
• In-depth understanding ofISO 9001:2015 QMSrequirements.
• Familiarity withU.S. Army supply, maintenance, and transportation standards(e.g., AR 710-2, AR 750-1, AR 735-5, Defense Transportation Regulation [DTR], and applicable technical manuals).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for interfacing with Army officials and contractor staff.
