Summary

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking a QA/QC Manager to own the quality control program for facility maintenance operations, including independent workmanship inspections, defect and rework tracking, weekly quality reports to the Government customer, planned and unplanned audits, and warranty tracking on installed parts. This is an immediate opening.

Essential Functions

  • Run the quality control system and weekly quality reporting, and support Government quality assurance oversight.
  • Inspect completed work independently of the technician who performed it where required, and verify technical completion before closeout.
  • Track defects, rework and repeat visits, and share root causes with the Maintenance Superintendent and reliability team.
  • Track warranties and installed-part warranty claims, and refer project warranty issues to the Government customer.
  • Assemble quality evidence for monthly performance reporting.
  • Administer resident satisfaction surveys and follow up on unresolved negative feedback.
  • Plan inspections using risk-based sampling across trades, buildings and technicians.
  • Issue and track nonconformance reports (NCRs) and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through verified closure.
  • Maintain document control for QC plans, checklists, inspection records and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibility

None required for this position; provides quality direction and feedback to field crews.

Work Environment

Daily field inspections in barracks and housing facilities on the installation, including occupied residential buildings, with office time for reporting.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Standing and walking in warehouse and field settings.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lb.
  • Computer work for planning and reporting.
  • Driving a vehicle between the hub and sites.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime. Shifts may require some evening or weekend work, and this position participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency escalations as duty lead.

Travel

Daily local travel between buildings on the installation.

Experience

  • 7+ years of facilities maintenance or construction experience.
  • 3+ years in a quality control role on federal (USACE or Army) contracts.
  • Experience writing QC plans and inspection checklists.
  • Comfortable working in occupied residential buildings.

Preferred:

  • Journeyman-level trade background.
  • CMMS-based inspection workflows.
  • Warranty administration.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
  • Experience with nonconformance and CAPA tracking systems.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.

Education

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a trade, or equivalent experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.
