About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Campbell, KY.

• Repair and replace electrical primary distribution systems.
• Use testing instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ground resistance testers, insulation testers, demand meters, and phasing meters.
• Lay underground conduits.
• Maintain record of time and materials electronically and written.
• Locates, with the use of a power cable locator and marks underground electrical systems for DPW Dig Permit Program.
• Operate equipment trucks.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires scheduled/unscheduled overtime and emergency callback during non-duty hours.
• This position requires a pre-employment physical examination.
• This position requires pre-employment drug screening and random testing thereafter.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• This position requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 180 days of employment.
• This position requires lifting up to 40 lbs.
