Adjunct Faculty – Cybersecurity Management & Policy
Location: Ft. Carson, CO
OverviewUMGC seeks adjunct faculty to teach on‑site in Ft. Carson, CO for the Cybersecurity Management and Policy Program. Candidates will work with adult learners, including active‑duty service members and veterans.
Responsibilities- Engage students through frequent interaction and energize learning.
- Facilitate active collaboration and problem‑ and project‑based learning demonstrations.
- Provide rich, regular constructive feedback using rubrics for assessment.
- Demonstrate current subject‑matter expertise and help students connect concepts across the program.
- Offer feedback to the program chair on curricular improvements.
- Complete the university’s two‑week online new‑faculty orientation (Fac Dev 411).
- Required: Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field from an accredited institution and professional experience in Cybersecurity or related field.
- Teaching: Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, IPP, CRISC, CCISO.

- International degree holders may need a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES‑approved vendor.
Salary commensurate with experience; per credit hour rates range from $806 to $1,645 depending on rank and credentials (see internal table).
