Position: Medical Logistics Specialist (PEO)

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Medical Logistics Specialist to support U.S. Army medical logistics operations in Fort Carson, CO. This position is responsible for providing regional medical logistics support to Army units, coordinating Class VIII medical materiel requirements, assisting with equipment fielding missions, and ensuring accurate accountability and readiness of medical equipment. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary medical logistics point of contact for supported Army units within the assigned region, providing readiness support and conducting routine engagement with units requiring equipment accountability or readiness assistance.
  • Coordinate Class VIII medical materiel resupply, maintenance, repair, and return-to-service activities with Medical Treatment Facilities, medical logistics units, USAMMA Business Support Office, and Medical Maintenance Depots.
  • Execute medical equipment fielding missions on behalf of the Government, including de-processing, staging, inventorying, and transferring medical materiel to gaining units.
  • Prepare, validate, and submit required fielding documentation, including DD Form 1348-1, inventory reports, APO documentation, and DA Form 1687, within established timelines.
  • Develop equipment requirement estimates, including equipment density reports, maintenance service schedules, disposition instructions, Medical Equipment Set (MES) assembly recommendations, and Class VIII requisition reconciliations.
  • Assist Regional Managers with fielding mission planning, including site assessments, infrastructure coordination, materiel handling requirements, manpower estimates, travel requirements, and mission scheduling.
  • Inspect medical materiel for transportation damage, initiate discrepancy reporting using SF 364/SF 361 documentation, and support resolution of equipment accountability issues.
  • Perform fault systems analysis on medical materiel issues and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment readiness and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and provide required monthly and quarterly status reports, workload reports, and data submissions.
  • Perform data entry, upload, validation, and approval activities within designated logistics systems of record, including support for transitions to DPAS and DST-SM.
  • Communicate effectively with Army officers, senior non-commissioned officers, government civilians, contractors, and program leadership to support mission requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Six (6) or more years of experience in logistics operations, including supply, materiel management, property accountability, distribution, or equipment fielding.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required. Current DISS/NBIS Secret eligibility required at time of offer; active Secret clearance required prior to contract performance.
  • Experience leading or directing the work of others through supervisory, team lead, military leadership, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with property accountability processes, including hand receipts, inventories, equipment transfers, turn-ins, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Experience using Army logistics automation systems, including GCSS-Army or equivalent logistics management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate professionally with senior military and government personnel.
  • Ability to travel regionally to supported units and fielding locations as mission requirements dictate.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with logistics operations, including assisting with unloading, organizing, staging, and moving equipment and materiel.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior Army medical logistics experience, including service as a 68J, 70K, or experience supporting USAMMA, USAMMC-K/E/SWA, medical logistics companies, or DHA MEDLOG operations.
