Scopeof Work
This position performs general maintenance on grounds‑related services such as aiding Crane Mechanic. The job requires practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in crane repair and electrical problem diagnosis.
Responsibilities- Work will include various laborious duties while utilizing many different hand tools, troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes and vehicle lifts.
- Carrying ladders, working in small spaces, and working at all heights.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Consistently produce quality products and service.
- Complete all training within required timeline.
- Perform all work in a safe and secure manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training in electrical systems troubleshooting and/or crane repair.
- Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may substitute for the equivalent number of years of required experience.
- CDL preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier
1) background check. - Maintain ability to access government worksite.
- Ability to work in a high‑volume office area and interface positively with co‑workers and customers.
- Ability to work in a team or alone and change jobs on short notice.
- Perform all assigned duties per established policies, procedures, and directives.
- Display courtesy and skill in dealing with internal and external customers, coworkers, and management.
- Accurately maintain and update records for quick and efficient retrieval of information.
- Work independently and communicate effectively in English.
- Work under tight time constraints in a high‑volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail oriented.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, mechanical rooms, outdoors, etc., including carrying ladders, working in small spaces, and working at all heights.
- Lift at least 50 lbs.
- Perform tasks on both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to noise, dust, particulates, hazardous substances, and high voltage.
- Work alternate and extended shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record to operate a company vehicle.
- Successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
