Staff Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Fort Collins, CO. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who is ready to contribute to a growing organization and support accurate, timely financial operations.

The Staff Accountant will play an important role in maintaining financial records, supporting month-end close, preparing reconciliations, and assisting with reporting and audit activities. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values accuracy, consistency, teamwork, and continued professional growth within a stable accounting environment.

• Prepare and maintain financial records, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, research variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and internal accounting processes.
• Support audit preparation and help ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accuracy, efficiency, and financial workflow.

• Pay range: $22 to $26 per hour.
