Bookkeeper

Unify is a CPA firm that provides ongoing strategic business advice to clients on a subscription basis.

This is a non‑traditional Staff Accountant role focused on client financial processing, tax returns, and ongoing business strategy.

• Assist with processing client financial information
• Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations
• Assist with client projects
• Prepare sales tax returns
• Prepare 1099s
• Prepare general correspondence and reports

• Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least three years of experience in full‑charge bookkeeping, with general knowledge of payroll and sales taxes
• Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop, Quick Books Online, and Microsoft Office products
• Strong aptitude for figures and problem‑solving
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Love for serving small businesses and their teams

• Aren’t able to do accounting tasks with minimal oversight
• Create or experience a lot of workplace drama
• Approach new ideas, clients, team members, or technologies with skepticism or pessimism instead of seeing potential
• Do not know how to speak with a confident, professional voice to instill customer confidence

$40,000 – $65,000 annualized, depending on experience.
