CB Partners is collaborating with a growing healthcare services organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for key accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and can provide meaningful financial insights that support business operations and leadership decision‑making.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Oversee and review payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger transactions
- Oversee customer billing processes and ensure timely invoicing
- Review and approve invoices in accordance with company policies
- Validate payroll calculations, benefit deductions, PTO balances, and payroll‑related reconciliations
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor cash receipts and assist with account reconciliations
- Ensure accurate recording of payables and timely payment processing
- Manage payroll journal entries and related accounting activity
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages

Experience & Education- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month‑end close
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with accounting systems and payroll platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
