Tax Preparer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Preparer to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for preparing a variety of tax returns, including Individual (1040), S Corporation (1120-S), Partnership (1065), and Trust/Estate (1041) returns. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-focused environment, enjoys solving complex tax issues, and is committed to delivering accurate and timely work.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for:
- Individuals (Form 1040)
- Partnerships (Form 1065)
- S Corporations (Form 1120-S)
- Trusts and Estates (Form 1041)
- Gather and analyze client financial information and supporting documentation.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate recommendations to clients.
- Research tax issues and apply relevant federal and state tax regulations.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist clients in resolving tax notices and correspondence from taxing authorities.
- Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate client records and work papers.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and client service delivery.
