Role Overview

Summit Stone Health Partners is seeking a proactive, relationship‑driven Senior Contract Administrator to lead the full contract lifecycle, from proposal development through renewal and compliance oversight.

Essential Duties
  • Review and revise contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies, alignment with risk tolerance thresholds, and support for timely, proactive execution.
  • Evaluate high‑risk areas and novel terms; recommend courses of action that minimize risk exposure while addressing client requirements to finalize deals.
  • Lead contract negotiations in partnership with business owners, as needed.
  • Coordinate prospective contractor onboarding due diligence audits to verify compliance with all standards before routing contracts for execution. Conduct annual and as‑needed due diligence audits to maintain ongoing contractor compliance.
  • Manage the company's contractual tracking software; maintain accurate, organized, and complete files of contracts, prospective records, and related documentation.
  • Lead the contract renewal process: alert responsible parties of upcoming expirations, conduct reviews, and provide guidance on key focus areas (e.g., term updates, rate negotiations, system duplications, contract necessity).
  • Lead contract reviews with business owners; provide recommendations, track responses, and follow up with contractors on unsatisfactory performance scores.
  • Review and track all contracts and obligations, including, but not limited to, renewal dates, rate schedules, reporting requirements, compliance obligations, and key contacts; partner with business owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to ensure thorough, complete, and accurate reviews and tracking. Train required parties on contract software usage and the full contract lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, Compliance, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in contract administration, contract management, compliance, legal operations, procurement, or risk management with at least:
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare provider contracting, including private insurance contracting and/or Medicaid contracting.
  • and at least 1 year of experience in client‑facing contract negotiations, either internally or externally facing.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered.
Licenses And Certifications
  • Certified Professional Contract Management (CPCM) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (healthcare, human services, biotech, government‑funded programs, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual/bi‑cultural preferred.
