For the first 90 days, you will work three days a week in our Fort Collins office to learn our systems, clients, and team. After that, you move to two days in‑office and can work the remaining hours remotely.
This role runs a 28‑hour week. It is well suited for someone who wants their afternoons back. Most days wrap by 3 pm.
The WorkThe Business Operations Coordinator supports HCi Advisory Group’s client engagements and internal operations. This role manages proposal development, contract administration, project setup and tracking, billing support, calendaring for Principals, managing the company’s social media accounts, document and knowledge management, and general administrative operations. The Coordinator works directly with the Managing Principal and consulting staff to keep client projects on schedule and firm operations running smoothly.
WhatWe Need From You
- Independent judgment. You will own deadlines and deliverables without someone checking your work at every step.
- Precision. Contracts, invoices, and client communications need to be right the first time.
- Comfort working across distance. Much of our team is remote. You need to coordinate clearly over Asana, email, and video calls, without the benefit of walking to someone’s desk.
- The ability to juggle. Proposals, billing cycles, and client requests do not arrive one at a time. You need to track multiple priorities and know which one moves first.
- A service mindset. Clients and consultants both depend on you. You anticipate what they need before they ask.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Two or more years of experience in project coordination, contract administration, or business operations, ideally in professional services or consulting.
- Working knowledge of Asana, Quick Books, and document management platforms, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong writing skills, including experience with proposals, contracts, or scopes of work.
- Sound judgment handling confidential client and firm information.
We are a small advisory firm with a collegial culture and a flexible approach to how work gets done. You will have real ownership over firm operations and direct access to firm leadership, not layers of management between you and the work.
CompensationPay ranges from $29 to $34 an hour based on level of experience.
