Construction Superintendent - Commercial Projects
Join an award-winning, high-performing commercial general contractor as a Construction Superintendent to oversee exciting ground-up projects from the field. In this critical role, you will take ownership and ensure execution is tight from beginning to closeout.
This is a dynamic, field-driven position focused on coordinating trades, maintaining project schedules, and swiftly resolving issues to keep progress on track.
Travel is required for this position.
YourKey Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site operations for commercial construction projects
- Manage subcontractors, project sequencing, and daily field coordination
- Develop and maintain the project schedule, making necessary adjustments to stay on track
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid project delays
- Uphold quality standards and enforce safety protocols on the job site
- Facilitate job site meetings and ensure effective communication between field and office
- Experience as a Superintendent leading ground-up commercial projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and ensure timely progress
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations
- A proactive individual who takes ownership and demonstrates high accountability
- Willingness to travel to various project sites
- Access to a steady pipeline of projects
- Independence to operate in the field without excessive bureaucracy
