Role Overview

The estimator leads preconstruction efforts by preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bid processes, and building strong relationships with clients and partners to help secure new work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates from conceptual design through final bid
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop accurate project pricing
• Manage bid process including subcontractor/vendor outreach and evaluation
• Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
• Follow up on bids and support client relationships to drive awards
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams
• Maintain current cost data, pricing, and market trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of construction industry experience (concrete preferred)
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and bid documents
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $80,000 – $105,000 annually Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
