A well-established civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join its growing team. This is a strong opportunity for a project management professional with a civil construction background who wants to support a busy project pipeline while working closely with leadership and operations.
The ideal candidate will be based in Colorado and able to work out of the Loveland corporate office, though the company may also consider a traveling Project Manager depending on background and fit. This person will work closely with senior leadership and operations to manage active civil projects, strengthen internal processes, and help support continued growth across the country
Key Responsibilities- Manage civil construction projects from planning through completion
- Oversee schedules, budgets, cost controls, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and project documentation
- Partner closely with operations, estimating, accounting, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably
- Track project performance, job costs, change orders, forecasts, and profitability
- Utilize project management, scheduling, and accounting software to manage project information and reporting
- Support project planning, resource allocation, sequencing, procurement, and client communication
- Review contracts, scopes, schedules, budgets, and project requirements
- Identify and resolve project issues, risks, delays, and cost impacts
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, financial performance, and key milestones
- Travel to project sites as needed, ideally only once every 2-3 months
- Strong understanding of civil infrastructure, earthwork, utilities, sitework, heavy civil, or related construction required
- Proficiency with project management, scheduling, and accounting software
- Experience with Primavera and/or Microsoft Project strongly preferred
- Experience with construction accounting software such as Spectrum, Viewpoint, Sage, or similar platforms strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Estimating experience or strong cost control experience is a plus
- Competitive base compensation up to ~$175k
