    Valid Colorado Educator’s License with appropriate endorsement.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with proper teaching licensure program required.
  • Experience instructing students in classroom setting preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Criminal background check required for hire.
  • Valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content, format, structure, schedule; individualized programs of instruction; classroom materials and curriculum; lesson plans and learning activities.
  • Instruct students in large, small, and one‑on‑one situations.
  • Administer, edit, proofread, and grade students’ assignments and assessments.
  • Create a classroom environment maximizing instructional opportunity, supervise behavior and well‑being, and administer discipline when appropriate.
  • Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways; use data to give meaningful feedback and modify instruction.
  • Monitor student growth and progress; adapt support as needed; maintain documentation for academic, social, and emotional progress.
  • Communicate student progress, needs, and eligibility with parents/guardians and other staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, and colleagues; participate in team and building‑based meetings and discussions.
  • Demonstrate commitment to understanding student diversity; engage families in education; support district policies; provide personal and professional excellence.
  • Participate in department, team, building, district meetings; student/family conferences; social, cultural, interscholastic, extracurricular activities; professional growth opportunities.
  • Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
