Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Paraeducators. As a Para educator, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to provide academic and behavioral support in various educational settings. Your role will be integral in helping students reach their full potential and ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Foster positive relationships with students to promote engagement and motivation
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior intervention strategies

    Support students with special needs in accessing curriculum and accommodations
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to address student needs effectively
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to professional standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
  • Previous experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students of all abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to participate in training and professional development opportunities
