Adjunct Metals and Fibers Instructor(s)
The Department of Art and Art History seeks to hire part-time or full-time Adjunct Metals and Fibers Instructor(s) with a special admin focus as a studio technician for the 2026-27 Academic Year. These positions are non-tenure track, and would be for a one-year appointment, renewable for up to three years.

The Art & Art History Department curriculum supports majors in Studio Art (BA, BFA, and MFA), Art History (BA), and Art Education (BFA). Concentrations include:

$48,000-$50,000 9-month salary (prorated for part-time work)
Specific teaching workload and responsibilities will be determined based department need and on the expertise of the faculty member. Service responsibilities would include light committee work as well as studio management and technical support of Metals and Fibers studios.

A masters degree in Art.
An active creative practice and college-level teaching experience in Metals and/or Fibers disciplines.
A terminal degree (MFA) in Art.
Foundations teaching experience.
