Health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, PERA retirement, paid time off, short‑ and long‑term disability, access to employee walk‑in clinic, and other optional benefit elections. - Pay: $58,000 – $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 6th, 2025).
- Develop, plan, prepare and implement course content, format, structure, schedule; individualized programs of instruction; classroom materials and curriculum; lesson plans and learning activities.
- Instruct students in large, small, and one‑on‑one settings.
- Administer, edit, proofread, and grade student assignments and assessments.
- Create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunity; supervise student behavior and wellbeing in all educational settings; administer discipline when appropriate.
- Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways and use data to give meaningful feedback and modify instruction.
- Monitor student growth and progress; adapt support as needed; maintain documentation pertinent to academic, social, and emotional progress and needs.
- Communicate student progress, needs, and eligibility with parents/guardians and other staff as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, and colleagues to enhance instruction and improve student outcomes; collaborate in team and building‑based meetings and discussions.
- Demonstrate commitment to understanding, appreciating, and accommodating student diversity; including families in the student's education; supporting all Poudre School District policies, procedures, and expectations; providing personal and professional excellence.
- Participate in department, team, building, and district meetings and discussions; student and/or family conferences; social, cultural, interscholastic, extracurricular activities; professional growth opportunities.
- Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree with proper teaching licensure program required.
- Experience in instructing students in a classroom setting preferred.
- Valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements required.
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
